Up for auction is a dual illumination NIJ Level II clear handheld ballistic shield.   Citadel Defense Technologies patented (US Patent 8,356,540) Shield is the only transparent handheld ballistic shield available  The Shield features dual LED 1000 lumen independently wired lights giving a combined 2000 lumens.  The lights are brighter than a spot light on most police cars.  The Shield is lightweight (approx. 10lbs) and comes with a carrycase, shoulder strap and battery charger.  Internal ballistic testing at both 90 and 45 degrees showed ZERO penetration.  22 mag, 380ACP 38 SPL +P 38 SW 9MM 40 SW 357MAG 10MM 45Auto and 44MAG.  The Shield was shot with arrows tipped with bone crushing  broad heads from 70lb bows with zero penetration.  This shield can be used for personal protection, law enforcement, security etc.
