The team had already made the switch to Nike to manufacture their jerseys in the 97-98 season, which makes these shorts special.
These shorts also don a stitched name "STOUDAMIRE" on the size tag, a rare addition on any game worn piece, as many team equipment managers simply write the players' name or number in sharpie.
