MILLER LAMP CO ANTIQUE Arts & Crafts MISSION Brass Chandelier Light Fixture Kerosine Burners Glass
ANTIQUE Arts & Crafts MISSION Brass Chandelier Light Fixture Kerosine Burners Glass Fonts 3 light Retractable Extension Ceiling Fixture
Cherished Hunts Antiques is offering a stunning circa 1800's 3 Arm kerosene / oil Retractable Extension Chandelier. This amazing Extension Kerosene Fixture is highly finished in bright Rose Brass restored as close to original shine as possible. These lights are amazing, rare and become the instant topic of conversation when guests walk into the room where displayed, I realize my photos cannot do it justice, in the right home, she is a focal point. This chandelier has a mixture of brass and copper pieces that really do harmonize and give a balance of warmth and color to itself. Comes complete with 3 EAPG glass oil font reservoirs fitted with brass feeder caps w/collars, one was replaced at some point and the glass has a slightly different pattern on the lamp. Each fitted with working Edward Miller Burners  Fonts (Ready to Light Without Moving Chimney) Coronet Hinged Burners with lift galleries that allows the top of the burner (with the chimney still attached) to be lifted to light or trim the wick, which was one of the many accomplishments marked during the history of early American Lighting, thumbwheel marked PAT dates Dec 10 1867- Aug 29 82. Wick adjust, thumbwheels move and should need oiling and proper cleaning prior to burning oil, they remain very clean.

This retractable extension feature allows you to display your chandelier in a variety of levels for height preferences, as shown extended in the last few photos, wonderful for great rooms with high ceilings. In the days of old the lever was released and it lowered so you can light the wicks which is can still be accomplished today. Original pulley, the pulley mechanism, extends to change/add oil, service wicks, and/or light your wick. This may have been originally hung in a hotel or bank. This is being sold as is as found and is simply stunning condition as shown in photos, provenance from a clean home collector of oil lamps and chandeliers.

Measures approximately: 34" drop from ceiling, arms come out about 14" from center, extends down to 48” or possibly longer* The fixture adjusts up and down as it should. Hinged Filler, this fits between the burner and the collar. A small hinged "lock" allowed the burner to be flipped up so that oil could be added to the fount without removing the burner from the lamp.

Aesthetics are subjective, I am an antique collector so I have no problem with a chip or bruise when I find something I really like,  realizing
that it is 100 years old I am just grateful to have such pieces,  please read and view all photos and understand that wear, such as patina/blemishes/pitting, etc on a 100 year old item / lamp / lamp shade is to be expected.
    PLEASE NOTE
: This and many of my other items are cross-sold on other internet platforms/venues
such as Etsy, etc., and are also sold locally,

If you should buy more than one of items from my store please request an invoice or wait for me to send you an accurate invoice.
No cancellations are accepted, no returns on lamps, unless grossly misrepresented,
they are far too difficult, costly and time consuming to pack,
so be sure this is the lighting for your purpose.
    Thank you for understanding.
Please email me with any questions for I welcome conversations and consider my relationships with viewers on eBay a blessing.
My GUARANTEE: I will always list and describe (and answer questions) about my items with 100% honesty (good, bad and ugly).
As you know we cannot go to our local department store and purchase the articles that are offered in my store.
    I work very hard everyday
to provide accurate listings, multiple photographs, careful packaging,
fair shipping and fast & friendly communication to offer fine antiques to our eBay collectors.
These items are 100 years old in most cases, most have been used, we would hope that one
who  is collecting understands that old glass, porcelain and artisan wares were not
manufactured with the sophisticated technology that we have today, such as the
process of cookie cutting manufacturing, therefore there may be glaze pops, black pin dots, and minor factory flaws.
Many antique porcelain and glass items sold in my store were individually crafted many years ago by artisans from all over the world. I do not know the materials used in production, and I cannot guarantee an item's durability. Antique porcelain, glass and other vintage items are fragile and may not be best suited for use and dishwasher use.
Antiques and used items will show wear and tear, so if you expect new or mint condition items, some items offered in my store will not be of interest to you.
Please remember also that glass from the American Brilliant Period is that, it is of the late 1800's to
early 1900's, and would show light signs of use as you would want to find, consistent with age.
I hope that you may prefer to own such beautiful rare articles such as those that are offered
here in my store, a piece of the past which makes your collection unique.
As import duties, VAT, GST and any other taxes levied by destination country vary and are beyond our control, therefore they would be the responsibility of the buyer.!
    Props not included.
