PAIR ART DECO NICKEL CHROME BATHROOM SCONCES WITH ORIGINAL GLASS SHADES - BIN!
Offered are a pair of bathroom sconces, having their original glass shades. Please enlarge the photos for a closer look. The total height of the sconces is 7 3/8", with the shades on. They would project 4 3/8" from the wall, again with the shades on. The shades themselves are 5 5/8" tall x 4 1/2" across the clear glass wings. They weigh about 1 lb. apiece. The nickel chrome has some light pitting, as seen in the photos, with the sconce on the right side having more. I will leave it to the new owner to clean them up. An unusual feature is the cone shaped rotary switches at the base of the sconces. You would use these to turn the individual sconces on and off. They do click when turned and could possibly be bakelite, but I'm not sure. The sconce on the right also has a brass rotary switch, which would turn both sconces off at the same time, if wired correctly. In the last 2 photos, I attempted to show a tiny rough area on the clear glass edge on both sconces. It just feels rough there, but you could never see it, unless running your finger along the edge. I am offering this fine, unusual pair at a very reasonable Buy It Now price. The shipping price includes insurance. International sales will be shipped International Priority Mail.
