Pair of PASS & SEYMOUR ALABAX Porcelain Art Deco, White Over-sink Sconces & Opal Glass Shades, rewired
These over-sink sconces were manufactured by Pass & Seymour during 1930's.  They are marked both P&S and ALABAX.  Alabax was the name for Pass & Seymour's porcelain line of lighting fixtures.  The sconces and shades are in very good condition.  The bulb sockets & built in pull switches were disassembled, cleaned, contacts polished and lubed, and reassembled.
We also added a new nickel plated pull chain, and we left it long so that the buyer can trim it to whatever length is wanted (or we would be glad to trim it for you if you tell us what length you want).  The outlets at the bottom of each fixture have been disconnected, but all of the parts are there and they can be made to work if buyer needs that.  The knob at the end of the chain is a plastic replacement because there were no knobs when we got the fixtures.
The polarized outlets at the bottom of each fixture have been rewired, but since they are not the modern 3 wire grounded outlets, we will leave it up the buyers and their electrician as to whether to hook them up.

he mounting hardware was missing when we got the sconces, so we made some up and they are included in the sale . Bulbs are not included.
The sconces have been tested, are guaranteed to work correctly, and to be as described.  We will accept their return if buyer is dissatisfied.  Just notify us within 30 days of receiving them.
Dimensions:  porcelain wall mounts are 5" in diameter; project 8-1/2" from the wall with shades in place.
Shipping is buyer's choice of USPS Parcel Select, FedEx Ground, or USPS Priority Mail.    The will be insured for the purchase price.
