The PD9270, 70 amp power converter is designed to provide reliable filtered DC power to all recreational vehicle 12-volt lighting and appliance circuits. The PD9270 converter also provides safe and rapid recharging of RV batteries. Built-in features such as electronic current limiting, reverse battery protection, high voltage protection, low voltage operation, and over temperature shut down ensure long term reliability. The built-in Charge Wizard is a microprocessor-controlled system that constantly monitors the battery voltage and ensures a rapid; yet, safe, recharge. The Charge Wizard can select one of three charging voltages and one of four operating modes depending on the condition and use of the battery. the 9200  series of converters all incorporate a sophisticated electronic current limiting circuit that automatically shuts the converter down very rapidly in the event of a short or current overload condition, without blowing the fuses. This protective circuit will automatically reset itself once the short or overload condition is eliminated.

Built-in Charge Wizard constantly monitors voltage status and automatically manages your battery.
Built-in accessory port for optional Pendant (standard on retail units) to monitor Charge Wizard operating modes.
Reverse battery protection protects converter from damage resulting from improper (reverse) battery lead connection.
These solid-state converter/chargers deliver filtered DC power for safe and reliable service.
Electronic current limiting automatically reduces output voltage when maximum capacity is reached. Protects your investment and offers peace of mind.
Variable speed intelligent cooling fan automatically monitors converter temperature and activates fan at speed required. Very slow quiet speeds are used when demand is low such as during sleeping hours.
High voltage protection protects converter from spikes or surge of voltage over 135V.
Automatic thermal protection reduces converter output to safe levels when unit temperature exceeds pre-set limits and protects converter from damage due
to excessive heat.
