1. What are the Peak Power and Continous Power?
The peak power means the power that inverter can withstand at the moment of starting up. Usually it relates to the load like motor. When the motor starts up, the starting current is very high and makes the instant starting power high.
The continuous powermeans the power that inverter generates in normal working condition.

2. What are the Resistive Load and Inductive Load?
Resistive Load
is a kind of electrical load which is characteristic of not having any significant inrush current. When a resistive load is energized, the current rises instantly to it's steady state value , without first rising to a higher value. An electrical load in which voltage and current are converted to energy in the form of heat, i.e., an electrical heater, candescent bulb. mobile,laptop, TV, LED light, toaster, oven, hot plates, curling irons, coffer makers, video player, small printer, water dispenser, electric cooker, etc.
Inductive Load
is an electrical load which pulls a large amount of current ( an inrush current) when first energized. After a few cycles or seconds the current settles down to the full-load running current. The time required for the current to settle down depends on the frequency or/and the inductance value of the inductive load.
It means the large power electric appliance whose working principle is the electromagnetic induction. Like motor, compressor, relay, etc.For these products, the start-up power is much higher than the rated power (about 3~7 times).For example, the rated power of the fridge is 150w, but its start-up power is higher than 1000w.
3. What is the difference between Modified and Pure Sine Wave?
Modified sine wave inverter use less elaborate switching and filtering circuitry. There would be electrical noises or interference which can prevent these inverter from properly powering certain loads. The frequency and voltage to their outputs may vary and contain some noise and distortion. It can run some resistive load like light bulb, etc. But it is not good for many appliance and affects use life your appliances.

If you need the inverter to run the resistive load (like laptop, TV, electric cooker, LED light), please choose the inverter with continuous power higher than the appliance's rated power.For example, for the power inverter with continuous power 2500w,it is suggested to run the appliance with rated power less than 2500w.It is best to use 80% of the rated power.
- For Inductive Load:
If you need the inverter to run the inductive load (for appliance such as compressor, motor, water pump), please calculate the power of inverter 3 to 7 times higher than the rated power of your appliance.
