Stalker Patrol Single-Antenna USB K-Band Radar System w/Remote Control

Description

This is a used Stalker Patrol Dual K-Band Antenna police radar system. These are used for speed detection and tracking.  This is a newer generation unit that uses radar antennas that operate over standard USB cables, no more proprietary antenna cables needed!  All components are in good physical condition with scuffs, marks, scratches and wear from normal use and storage. These were field-used units and may have velcro residue on them for mounting purposes.
The unit is powered via an OBD2 connector that connects into the OBD port of the vehicle you are using it in, please note that this is VERY important as some of the OBD2 power cables are specific to certain makes/models of vehicles. If you use the wrong OBD cable the unit may not power on at all when it is connected. The OBD2 connector included with this unit has a part number of 155-2283-00 that is meant for Ford Crown Victoria and Police Interceptor Utility vehicles  (
unsure on year, please validate with Stalker to be sure
). You can also cut/modify the cable to work with a standard lighter jack, please consult an expert on how to do this. When I test these, I apply 12vdc to the OBD pins on the connector (pin16 +12v, pin5 ground).
The unit powers on properly.  The display is readable and works, although the left side is a bit dimmer then the right, most likely to one of the backlights being out.  Both antennas are recognized properly. Unit passes self-test with no issues. Using the remote control I am able to modify settings on the counter with no issues. All buttons on the remote control register as they should, back-lighting for the buttons also works.   Only the front antenna port is responding, when an antenna/cable is attached to the rear port it is not recognized by the unit.  The unit does have the SAME LANE moving software option installed so moving mode operates in both same/opposite modes.
The remote control is missing the center "TRANSMIT/ HOLD" button overlay, the button still works fine although cosmetically it's not there. I took a small plastic nut and used it as a button, it's not perfect but it works and is cheaper then buying a new remote.  The rear battery cover is also cracked and needs a small piece of tape to hold it in place.
This unit tracks in Miles-Per-Hour (MPH). I do not know if it can be converted to KPH at all. I do not have any calibration or certification history on the unit.
