It does not get much better than this....this listing is for one single-lamp teardrop head (NO arm or POLE) new york city street light called Bishops Crook; this light can be seen all across NYC in such places as Patchin Place, City Hall, E. 48th St, 10th ave, and Riverside Drive. These are vintage municipal street lights and all in perfect condition. This auction is for ONEteardrop light, no arm or pole. The color is shiny black even though some of the pictures show a green one. The Bishops Crook luminaire is a favorite in NYC because of an uninterrupted hemisphere light. It can be set up for LED or 150 watts high-pressure sodium, thus, making it eminently adaptable to many of your areas that need lighting such as driveways, pool areas or landscaping or down your street/culdesac. Hinged door for easy changing of the bulb. Mates magnificently with a plain or ornamented pole you might already have to impart Renaissance urbanity to any area.
